The City of Garden City, Missouri located 40 minutes outside Kansas City in southeastern Cass County is accepting applications for the right person to join our ranks as a part-time police officer in our growing community.

Garden City offers select CEU training through the Regional Police Academy, Kansas City, MO Police Department.

Current starting salary for part-time is $11.00 per hour with a current schedule of 20 hours per week (currently a flexible schedule) . Uniforms and leather provided, Must have your own duty weapon and successfully pass a firearms qualifing course

Candidate Qualifications
Valid Missouri POST certification (Class A or B)
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum 21 years of age
No felony convictions
Good physical condition
Successfully complete selection process
Pro-active work ethics
No dependencies of drugs or alcohol
